December 2012:
Abbi had her 5th birthday. We had a cute little tea party at a local tea house here in town called 'The Pink House'. It.Was.ADORABLE!! She got to invite 4 friends (all from ballet) and they had a real tea party, complete with REAL china! Shattered nerves were an understatement! lol
Seriously though, if you're ever in Claremore OK, check out 'The Pink House'. Great food, ambiance, staff and (most importantly) tea!
Ballet for Abbi
The Myers family traveled, by car,
January 2013:
Nothing to report except ballet for Abbi.
February 2013:
Nothing to report except more ballet for Abbi.
March 2013:
Baseball!!! It was season 3 for Austin and Coach Daddy. We had a great season, that got off to a rocky start. It was the team's 1st time at coach pitch, and whoa, rough at first, but by mid-season those little boys found their groove, and started meshing as a team. The day they won their 1st game was AWE-some, so awesome in fact, Coach Daddy lost his voice, mommy cried and the whole team went out for ice cream!! After that it seemed they couldn't loose! Even when they lost, they still played hard and as a team. Can't wait for this season...it will only get better!
Spring Break brought out first AZ visitor, my niece Sarah! My beautiful, smart niece is a Jr. at ASU (Go Sundevils), and it was her first time in middle America! The kids loved having their ''big cousin'' around, and so did Bryan and I. It was our first chance to get to know the lovely young adult she has become! We can't wait to get her back here for another visit (

June 2013:
Seriously, is baseball done yet?
Ballet is on summer break, enough with the baseball...I want to take a trip!!
July 2013:
VACATION, finally!!! Every 3 years my mom's side of the family has a reunion. Not just a little reunion, a big 3 day, destination reunion! This year's Hinschberger Family Reunion (yes, I spelled that right) was in Dolores, CO., at 'Circle K Ranch', which is about a 45 minute drive from beautiful Telluride (yes we went for the day) in the wonderful, peaceful, cool mountains! Although the reunion was only 3 days long, my immediate family went for 8 glorious days! Eight glorious days of NO cooking (they do all the meals). Eight glorious days of NO cleaning (they do that for you). Eight glorious days...you get the picture! We were off the grid, no cell service, barely any wifi, and a huge ranch for the kids to run wild and free without fear of someone taking them! It was glorious!! I love my big, loud, opinionated family, and live for these reunions! So much fun!
Round #2 of AZ visitors, this time my SIL Chris (Sarah's mom, Bryan's sister) and nephew Ben (Sarah's brother)! Once again, we did a lot of nothing! It was a very relaxing week. The boys and Abbi went fishing (Chris and I laid on the couch). The boys and Abbi went to a movie (Chris and I laid in lawn chairs)...you get the jest!! :) As with Sarah, we are already looking forward to Chris and
Ben's next trip to OK!
Austin's 8th Birthday-just can't be possible! I mean, he was just born yesterday! :( Anywhoo, he wanted his birthday party this year at a local fro-yo shop called 'CherryBerry', it's so yummy! He invited his whole baseball team for cake and ice cream. Once again score 1 for mommy--no cooking, no cleaning and fun time had by all!
August 2013:
Back to school, AKA, OMG my baby is in Kindergarten AND I have a 3rd grader!! :/ Seriously folks, why does time fly?? So far so good, my lil man has straight A's and my baby girl is...well she's Abbi (and for those that know her, you know EXACTLY what I mean!!)
Back to Ballet
Mommy goes back to work, PT
My 29th-ish birthday and Bryan's 29th-ish birthday. Really who celebrates past 29th-ish anyways??
September 2013:
More ballet, more sub-bing, more the same....OH and Bryan and I have been married for 11 years!
October 2013:
More ballet, more sub-bing, and we signed Austin up for basketball (cue mommy's competitiveness).
Halloween--We kind of kept it low key this year. Abbi was a Lalaloopsy doll and Austin was a Zombie. We went trunk or treating at one of the churches in town and then to my friends house for her youngest son's birthday party. See, low key! :)
November 2013:
More ballet, more sub-bing, more basketball (no games yet), more competitiveness (I make a GREAT side line coach! lol)
Thanksgiving was at our house this year. We had my parents, my sister and both my Grandmas (I am blessed to still have both of them)! I cooked a pretty kick-a$$ meal and we ate till we popped! So much to be thankful for this year!
So here we are... December 2013, once again we are looking at ballet, basketball (still no games), myself sub-bing and another birthday coming on the 13th for my baby girl who will be SIX!! (I will not cry, I will not cry, I will not cry) This year has flown by, and as I look forward to Christmas 2013 and a wonderful 2014, I just want to wish all my cherished family a friends a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!! I will update the blog again next year
