Halloween

Our first weekend in Oklahoma was Halloween. We had a very interesting time trying to navigate a new town and find a safe place to trick or treat! We started by going to a Fall Festival at the Methodist church around the corner of our house, it was fun for the kids. They had a bounce house, horse rides, hay ride, games, food ect...! The one thing they didn't have was a "trunk or treat", so off to find a neighborhood to go door to door in. Our neighborhood was dark, no one really had lights on, so I kept driving...as the kids cried and then fell asleep, I finally decided we were gonna go to Wal-Mart and I was gonna buy some candy on the off chance that trick or treating was not in the cards this year! On our way home I noticed about 5 homes in our neighborhood with lights on, so we pulled in the garage, and headed out. By the end of the night the kids were happy and sleepy and now I have enough candy to last until next Halloween!
